via KTVB

22 days until kickoff, Bronco Nation!

From September 2003 to December 31, 2004, Boise State football went on an unbelievable 22-game winning streak — the second-longest winning streak in program history. After beating Wyoming on September 27, 2003, the Broncos did not lose a football game until the team lost to Louisville in the Liberty Bowl — falling one game short of a perfect season and finishing at No. 10 in the nation.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 On Top. Boise State former gymnast Courtney Blackson has been selected as the 2023-24 Mountain West Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The selection makes Blackson the first Bronco to earn the honor since 2019 when three-time NCAA Champion Allie Ostrander was given the award.

🗣️ “Academics have always been important to our program and to Courtney herself. She is always such a high achiever and an example that you can come out on top in the classroom as well as on the competition floor." - Tina Bird, head coach

Blackson graduated with a 3.84 GPA in health studies while earning three WGCA Scholastic All-American honors, three academic all-conference selections and two Academic All-District 7 distinctions. She also qualified as a WGCA Scholastic All-American and a CSC Academic All-American finalist for the 2024 season.

🔼 Headed Downtown. Boise State men’s basketball announced that it will continue the neutral-site series with Washington State this season. The two teams will meet downtown at Idaho Central Arena on December 7. The Broncos hold a 2-1 advantage in the current four-game series with their Pacific Northwest rival, winning the first two meetings: 2021 in Spokane, Wash., 58-52, and 2022 in Boise, 71-61. Washington State claimed last season's meeting in Spokane, 66-61. Ticket information for the game will be announced at a later date.

🔼 2024 Midfielders. In the second of a four-part series highlighting the full 2024 roster, Boise State women's soccer announces its returning and incoming roster of midfielders.

⚽️ Morgan Padour, a 2024 Mountain West Women's Soccer Watch List selection, tallied one goal and six assists in 2023 while redshirt senior Sophie Drown appeared in all 21 matches last season, scoring two goals for four points.

⚽️ Jayla Land, Kayla Soderstrom and Grace Sommers played limited minutes last season and return as midfielders this year for the Broncos.

⚽️ Freshmen Jillian Anderson and Kaylee McKeehan will suit up for the Broncos for the first time as they, along with redshirt sophomore Chloe Yates, look to make their Boise State debuts.

🔼 Pair of Welcomes. Boise State men's golf head coach David Trainor has announced a pair of additions to the program ahead of the 2024-25 season. Jake Slocum – a native of Meridian, Idaho – returns to the Treasure Valley as a transfer from Iowa State, while Reese Knox joins as an incoming freshman from Peyton, Colo.

🔼 On The Road Again. The Boise State beach volleyball coaching staff is hitting the road for a trip to Seaside, Ore., to scout out some future Broncos. Assistant coach Alex Venardos will attend Seaside Beach Volleyball this weekend.

🔼 Double Trouble. Boise State softball added two new members to the squad for the 2025 season from the transfer portal this week. Kaylee Viera joins the Broncos from North Idaho as a utility player while Talia Jenkins made her way to Boise from CSUN and will play catcher.
