🔼 In The Books. Through two rounds at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, the Boise State women’s golf team sits in fifth place at 1-under par. Brooke Patterson followed up her round of 69 with an even-par 72 in round two of the tournament. Teal Matsueda stayed steady with her second straight even-par round while Jillian Hui and Hannah Lim round out the Broncos sitting in the top 20 at 1-over par. Boise State will look to climb the leaderboard today in the final round.

🔼 Here To Stay. Boise State head men's golf coach David Trainor has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the university through the 2026-27 season. Boise State recently logged its best finish under Trainor in the 2024-25 season opener. The Broncos finished runners-up to Purdue at the Island Resort Intercollegiate – they placed three golfers in the top 10.

🔼 The Beach Is Open. What’s better than starting the morning off at the beach? Join the Boise State beach volleyball team for an open practice on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex.

🔼 Up and Away. Boise State women’s tennis performed well in the team’s most recent performance at the Boise State Classic. See some of the best moments from last weekend’s competition.

🔼 Pro Status. The NFL is three weeks into its season, and many former Boise State football players are making their presence known. This week, 12 former Broncos are set to represent Boise State in the NFL, including three playing in nationally televised games.

🏈 Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir had a team-high six receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown, his second of the season, in Buffalo's 47-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

🏈 All-purpose player Scott Matlock played in all three phases again, starting at fullback and making two tackles as a defensive tackle. He also played 15 special teams snaps in the Chargers' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

🏈 Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison ran for a 2-yard touchdown and caught three passes for 37 yards in the 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He is one of six running backs in the NFL to score a touchdown in all three games.
