Good morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State jumped four spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll Sunday, up to No. 21 following a decisive 45-24 win over previously unbeaten Washington State. Boise State (3-1) already holds the distinction of the nation's best record while ranked in the AP Top 25 poll. Following last night's win, the Blue and Orange are now 114-21 (.844) while ranked by the AP, the best record of any team over the past 40 years.

🔼 Utter Domination. Ashton Jeanty ran for 259 yards and four touchdowns, Matt Lauter had four catches for 96 yards and two scores and No. 25 Boise State surged past Washington State 45-24 on Saturday night. Playing its first game as a ranked team since 2020, Boise State (3-1) pulled away in the fourth quarter against its future Pac-12 Conference rival. Washington State (4-1) had no answer for Jeanty — and no ground game of its own.

🔼 It’s a Draw. Morgan Padour's goal in the 74th minute gave Boise State a 1-1 draw at San Jose State in Mountain West women's soccer, Sunday. The equalizer started with a corner kick by the Broncos (8-2-1, 1-0-1 MW). After an initial shot was saved, the Spartans (0-7-3, 0-1-1) tried to clear, but Padour corralled the ball in the box among heavy traffic and slipped a shot past the goalkeeper for her fourth goal of the season.

🔼 Beyond the Gridiron. Boise State Football is proud to raise awareness about the importance of taking care of your mental health.

🔼 Broncos Holding Court. The Boise State women's tennis team finished play in the seventh annual Barb Chandler Classic, Sunday. In their first pairing as a doubles team this season, Ryan Kershner and Skylar Moody responded from an early loss to finish 2-1 on the weekend and place third in the orange draw. In singles, senior Ariadna Briones Ginesta went 2-1, defeating Andrea Cuquerella (Montana State), 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, on Saturday before taking down Victoria Grymalska (Idaho State), 6-3, 6-1, on Sunday.

🔼 Anything But Blue About This Legacy. Scott and Peggy Paul, the parents of former Bronco fullback Dan Paul, have been selected to raise the Blue Chaos flag prior to kickoff against Washington State on Saturday.

Paul, who played for the Broncos from 2008-12, passed away in July 2019 at the age of 30. He was known for perfectly embracing the blue-collar mentality that the program emphasizes. His legacy lives on through the Dan Paul Hammer, symbolizing the power of a collective force and representing the foundations of Boise State Football.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: The Broncos' No. 21 billing is the highest they have been listed in the rankings since Nov. 1, 2020!

This week's elevation mimicked that 2020 season when a 49-30 win at Air Force pushed the Broncos up four spots from No. 25 to No. 21 in a week's time.
