🔷 And much, much more!

🔷 ONE BIG THING

Following her stellar defensive performance, Boise State volleyball sophomore Breanna Mitchell has been named the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week.

Mitchell is the second Bronco volleyball player to earn the honor this year, following Paige Bartsch earlier this season.

The libero also earned Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week honors this week. She averaged 17.3 digs per match helping the Broncos to wins over South Dakota State and Montana. Mitchell recorded 52 digs in three matches, and made only four errors on 48 attempts for a .917 serve-receive percentage.

🔼 Career Numbers. The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes the top offensive player in DI football who was born in Texas or graduated from a Texas high school and exhibits characteristics such as integrity, teamwork and tenacity. Boise State’s Eric McAlister checked all of those boxes in the Broncos’ first win of the season against North Dakota.

The Boise State wide receiver was named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention list after his six-reception, 143 yard, two-touchdown performance. It was a career-best outing for McAlister as he recorded his first 100-yard game in the Blue and Orange.

🔼 Come Out and Support. Prepare to come loud and proud to support Bronco women’s sports as two Boise State programs prepare to host three events in Boise this week. Bronco volleyball will play twice at Bronco Gym to kick off its MW conference slate while Boise State women’s tennis will host the Barb Chandler Classic from Friday to Sunday.

🔼 Talking About Practice. Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Boise State football practice as offensive line coach Tim Keane gets mic’d up. Plus, hear from offensive lineman Garrett Curran on how his coach gets the best out of him and the entire unit during practice and on game days.
