🔷 ONE BIG THING

Heading into the fourth week of action, Boise State football will begin MW conference play against San Diego State under the Friday night lights.

The Broncos head into the matchup with a 59-14 all-time record in conference openers and have won 23 in a row, dating back to the 1900s. Ashton Jeanty has been Boise State’s biggest weapon on offense as he is currently the only player in the country with 200-plus receiving and 200-plus rushing yards. He’s just the seventh player in FBS history to crack 200 yards in both categories through a team’s first three games.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Mark Your Calendars. Boise State men’s basketball announced its full 2023-24 schedule with its opening game coming on Nov. 7 against Vanguard at home.

The Broncos’ schedule will consist of 13 non-conference games including six at ExtraMile Arena, one true road game and five neutral-site contests highlighted by a trip to the ESPN Events Invitational. Boise State can now set their sights on their opponents as they embark on their quest for a third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

🔼 Never Backed Down. After surrendering a first-half goal, the Broncos fought back in the second half to score two goals to secure the win in Boise State’s first conference game. In the 48th minute of the match, Carly Cross netted her team-leading sixth goal to draw the score even. Then, Ashly Barge came through in the clutch as she scored her first goal of the season, leading to a Broncos win.

🔼 Opening Thriller. In a hard-fought five set battle against Colorado State, the Broncos came out on top for its first conference win of the season. Paige Bartsch stepped up big for Boise State as she racked up 24 kills, eight digs, and a program-record seven service aces. Brianna Mitchell and Noelani Helm combined for 28 digs on the match, and Annie Kaminski recorded a team-high five blocks.

Altogether, the Broncos finished with more digs, blocks and aces than the Rams, all which helped the team to a win. Next up, Boise State will face off against Wyoming on Saturday at Noon MT.
