🔷 ONE BIG THING

Saturday’s football matchup on the road against Memphis will be the first time the Broncos and Tigers have met on the gridiron. It will also be Boise State’s final nonconference game of the season.

Boise State’s rushing attack has been solid this season so far, with the team averaging 171 rushing yards per game. Running back Ashton Jeanty has accounted for nearly 60% of the team’s rushing yards and has scored eight total touchdowns in four games this season.

The defense will look to linebacker Marco Notarainni as he leads the team in total tackles (28), tackles for loss (3) and sacks (2) this season.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Still Here. Boise State soccer hit the ground running with a high-powered offensive performance in a 3-1 win against Wyoming. Kenzie McMillan scored the Broncos’ first two goals on the night, while the team’s leading scorer, Carly Cross, netted the final goal for the team. The Broncos more than doubled the amount of shots on goal its opponents put up with Boise State blasting 13 shots on goal throughout the match.

Still undefeated in MW play, the Broncos will look to continue the trend this Sunday at Noon MT against Colorado State at the Boas Soccer Complex.

🔼 Moving On. Boise State men’s tennis is competing this weekend at the ITA Mountain Region Championships, and a few Broncos have already picked up wins.

Doubles team Jett Middleton and Jip van Assendelft secured a victory in a close match against Air Force to advance to the round of 16. James Van Herzeele and Jip van Assendelft also picked up singles wins to advance to the round of 32.

🔼 Rallied Back. Boise State volleyball remains undefeated in MW play after a hard-fought, five set battle against Air Force. After falling behind 2-1 in the match, the Broncos rallied back with a thrilling fourth set win. In the fifth set, the Blue and Orange finished the job with Bree Mitchell’s fifth service ace of the match to secure the win.

After all was said and done, Paige Bartsch recorded her seventh match with 20 or more kills, Noelani Helm finished with her sixth double-double of the season and Anna Kaminski tallied her fourth match with double-digit kills.

🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA
