Ashton Jeanty continued to make history and the Boise State defense slowed down a talented Air Force offense in a 27-19 win in front of 36,390 fans at Albertsons Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The victory propelled the Broncos to an MW Championship matchup against UNLV on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. MT at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game will air nationally on FOX.
Don't fault the Falcons, there aren't many teams that can stop him. The sophomore tailback became just the sixth player in school history to record 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in a single game. He finished the day with 225 yards in total, vaulting him to second in the country with 1,650 yards from scrimmage despite missing two-and-a-half games due to injury.
On the defensive side, Alexander Teubner led all players with a career-high 14 tackles. Ahmed Hassanein registered a sack for a national-leading eighth consecutive game while Andrew Simpson's 3.0 tackles for a loss finished just one shy of Air Force's 4.0 tackles for a loss as a team.
📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Getting Defensive. Boise State women's basketball came up with two defensive stops in the final 18 seconds to preserve a 68-65 win over Rutgers on Saturday in the final game of the South Point Classic.
Natalie Pasco led the way again for Boise State, scoring a team-high 19 points for the Broncos. Abby Muse and Trista Hull both added 11 points while Mya Hansen netted 10 for the squad.
📆 Boise State will return to ExtraMile Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. MT for a contest against UC Davis. With a win, Gordy Presnell would secure his 200th win at ExtraMile Arena.

🔼 Looking Forward. A series of Butler runs on either end of halftime was enough to defeat Boise State in the fifth-place game of the ESPN Events Invitational on Sunday at the State Farm Field House.
The Bulldogs ended the first half on a 17-4 run, and after the Broncos pulled within three points on a Jace Whiting 3-pointer in the first two minutes of the second half—Butler responded with a 14-point run to go up double digits.
Tyson Degenhart scored a game-high 12 points, collecting seven boards and two steals, Jace Whiting added nine points (going 2-2 from beyond the arc) five rebounds, and three assists, and O'Mar Stanley contributed eight points, six rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
🏀 Boise State returns to action with a neutral-site game against Saint Mary's, Dec. 1, at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA
Oi, oi, oi! With his 70-yard punt, Ray Guy Award semifinalist James Ferguson-Reynolds averaged an astounding 53.7 yards on his three punts against Air Force, finishing the season with an average of 50.08 yards per punt.
Our question today—how many other Division I punters also have an average of at least 50 yards per punt?

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: None!
Sorry for the trick question so early on a Monday morning, but Ray Guy Award semifinalist James Ferguson-Reynolds is currently the only punter in Division I football with an average over 50.0 yards per punt.
🔷 Have a great Monday, Bronco Nation!
