📈 STOCK UP

A win for the Broncos would secure the 26th consecutive year that Boise State has posted a winning record, the longest active streak in the country. A win would also keep the Broncos hopes of reaching the MW Championship game alive. The winner of Friday's game will either play at UNLV or enter into a three-way tie with UNLV and San Jose State with computer rankings determining the two teams advancing to the conference championship game.

This afternoon’s game on The Blue will be televised nationally on FS1 with Dan Hellie (play-by-play) and Petros Papadakis (analyst) on air while Bob Behler (play-by-play) and Pete Cavender (analyst) will call the action on the Bronco Radio Network with a simulcast airing on SiriusXM Ch. 386 and on the app.

After leading for 21:12, the Broncos pulled within two points thanks to a 3-pointer from Max Rice with 3:17 remaining. Virginia Tech responded with five-straight points. Chibuzo Agbo and Tyson Degenhart dove for a loose ball that was called a jump ball. The possession arrow went the Hokies' way, and Sean Pedulla was able to make a 3-pointer from deep.

Degenhart couldn't finish a shot in the post, and Virginia Tech scored on the other end to make it a two-possession game. Rice was called for a travel on the ensuing end.
